Pregnancy is a time filled with excitement and nervous anticipation. Practicing yoga during pregnancy, even if you have never taken a yoga class, is very beneficial for both you and your growing baby. Our prenatal yoga class will help promote a healthy pregnancy, keep you in the present moment and ease you into motherhood. Physically, prenatal yoga will help to strengthen the muscles used in childbirth, stretch the body increasing flexibility in the hips, improve circulation and reduce lower back discomfort. Learning breathing techniques and expanding internal awareness will allow you to reduce stress and learn to stay in the present moment. So many changes take place during pregnancy.
